Red Room Poetry, Friday Poem

Red Room Poetry’s Friday Poem is my ‘Sea Grape (A Decaying-Flourishing Sestina)’, with a nod to Lawrence Schimel, who invented the Decaying Sestina — read his ’Deleting Names’ here.

My poem’s about the sea grape from its own point of view and was written for Poetry Month 2023.

Thanks to everyone at Red Room, especially David Stavanger who commissioned this poem.
